Membership

Membership Information

Membership in the GJCL is extended to all students of classical languages or classical humanities. Individual member dues, established by the GJCL constitution, are $3.00. This entitles him/her (granted "good standing" status) the opportunity to attend GJCL sponsored events, run for GJCL office, and be a member of the National Junior Classical League Honor Society (provided all other requirements are met).

Chapter Fees are $10 after December 1st and $20 after May 1st.

 

Instructions for Chapter Membership:

First pay your ACL Membership:

  1. Go to aclclassics.org

  2. At the top, click Member Login. 

  3. Once you are logged in the button will say member logout

  4. Click on the view my profile (or the human figure) to the left

  5. On your profile screen, in the top section, click on the Pay for ACL Membership

  6. From the dropdown select the "type" of membership you would like

  7. Complete the information in each box

  8. Click add to cart

  9. Click view cart

  10. Scroll down in the cart and click on secure checkout

  11. Confirm your billing and shipping information, and scroll down and click review order.

  12. Select your payment method.

    1. If you are paying with credit card select REGULAR PURCHASE.

    2. If you are paying via School PO, or would like an invoice to print and send a check select SCHOOL PO OR SEND INVOICE then enter the PO number or the word CHECK in the box.

  13. Click place order. Complete the information require

  14. You will receive an email confirmation of your payment or an invoice to print and submit.

 

Once your ACL Membership is current,

  1. On the profile, click on the Register an NJCL Chapter

  2. Complete the information in each box

  3. Click add to cart

  4. Click view cart

  5. Scroll down in the cart and click on secure checkout

  6. Follow the prompts to complete your order

  7. Confirm your billing and shipping information, and scroll down and click review order.

  8. Select your payment method.

    1. If you are paying with credit card select REGULAR PURCHASE.

  9. Click place order. Complete the information require

  10. You will receive an email confirmation of your payment or an invoice to print and submit.

 

Once that happens you will get access to The Chapter Management system Linked Here 

 

Vicki - njcloffice@njcl.org - will be the one sending you the login. If you forgot yours, please email her ASAP.

 

There you will put in the names, grades, and level of Latin for each student. Once that is complete you will be able to download a PDF of your roster as shown below

 

 

 

 

Once you have that PDF downloaded you can start the GJCL process: GJCL Registration Form

 

Lisa Piacesi-Choplin will send you the invoice completed and ready for you to submit for a PO!
