The GJCL State Convention
- Cost: $100 per delegate (this includes chaperons but not sponsors); $2 optional donation for all participants (goes to the scholarships fund). A single check from each chapter needs to be sent to Melinda Burke at Atlanta Girls’ School, 3254 Northside Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30327.
- Where and When: April 16th, 17th and 18th at Rock Eagle.

- Creative Arts Selections: Boys Dramatic Interpretation; Girls Dramatic Interpretation; Latin Oratory
- Registration: Registration will be held from March 15 – April 4. The registration process will completed online. Take note of the following information that you will need to have when you register: number of student delegates, number of chaperons (follow a 1:8 same sex ratio unless you have fewer that 12, in that case no additional chaperons are needed), number of sponsors (ACL members), list of students who are not JCL members but who are attending convention (they will need to be added), the number of state officers (if applicable), the various electronic forms completed (see below).
- Students planning to run for office should fill out and submit the papers of candidacy by April 12, 2009
