1. Name – Kris Surapaneni
2. Office - Parliamentarian
3. School – South Forsyth High School
4. Age - 17
5. Level of Latin – IB Latin HL
6. What is your favorite aspect of Latin and why? – Imagine the things you can do in
a toga. The unity and the love for classics that binds everyone together is
probably the greatest aspect of Latin. Overall the culture that is so friendly
gathering diversity is also another aspect I enjoy.
7. What is something you are interested in outside of school/your academic work?
(give some details) – This includes any type of sport or physical activity;
basketball, football, etc. Other social events usually grab my interests also; I am
definitely a person that can’t live without people. I tend to enjoy events such as
poker.
8. Who is your favorite “classical” hero or villain and why? – This would most
probably be Mercury. He is my ideal role model who tends to communicate all
the important business, getting work done, while at the same time balancing this
out with social and other entertaining activities.
